and pour the breast milk into a sterilised bottle or VIA Cup. Place in a
fridge or freezer as soon as possible after collection. Breast milk can be
stored for up to 48 hours in the fridge (not in the door) or 3 months
in the freezer.

NB: It is recommended not to wear breast shells for longer than
40 minutes at a time as they may cause undue pressure on the milk ducts.
